From December 7 to 17, 2023, Young European Artists presented Antonin Gerson's exhibition Making the Walls Quake in Stassart, Ixelles (1050).
The exhibition explores the transformation of silence into noise and the way sound occupies and vibrates space. Acoustic panels and sound devices create an immersive installation where resonance, amplification, and rupture combine. The project questions our relationship to noise, echo, and gestures of destruction or authority, inviting visitors to perceive sound as a tangible trace of life.
Through this installation, Antonin Gerson offers a sensory and conceptual experience, where silence becomes active and capable of literally “shaking the walls.”
